about
An ethereal instrumental surrounds a tale of loss and an inability to move on
lyrics
She had hair down to her waist, with exceptional taste:
she was mine,
but one day when we went home, she got a call on her cellphone and lost her mind.
She wrote names down on a list, and she killed who she had kissed
and built a shrine.
Carried out all of her plans, with a knife grasped in her hands,
to be divine.
But I just want to be fine,
but I am next on her line.
Thought I could run, though that I could hide, maybe dance on the dark side to clear my tracks.
But when I took a step too far, that's when things got real bizarre-no going back.
Every move that I took, every place I didn't look,
she could attack.
But I wish I could be found, maybe have her be around- love did I lack.
And I want to stay on track with the girl with hair so black.
So, our story comes to close as she murdered all her foes, well she caught on.
Hearing voices in her head, she killed when she saw red, lasted too long.
Didn't know she that she would be, so much closer to me all along
and I tried to beg and plea, show her what she couldn't see, but I was gone.
And I just want to be alright but I will never see the light.
And I just want to be fine, but I am out of time.
